Tuition Assistance

Financial Aid, Adopt-A-Student, and Scholarship Opportunities.
Every student at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic School may apply for scholarships and financial aid.  Working in partnership with parents, who are the primary educators of their children, we want to ensure that the young people in our school community have an opportunity to receive an affordable Catholic education.  Please apply for scholarships and financial aid from the school by completing the Tuition Rates and Scholarship/Financial Aid Application worksheet as well as the additional applications required and submit to Carol Lorek in the parish office.

In order to be considered for the Diocesan Tuition Assistance (DTA) financial assistance and our St. Mary Adopt-A-Student Tuition Assistance, you must complete and submit online the FACTS Grant & Aid application as well as complete and submit the Adopt-A-Student application for your family.  The deadlines in which to apply/submit the DTA (FACTS) and Adopt-A-Student applications for consideration are as follows:

  • March 15th        - Diocesan Round 1 FACTS application
                                        - St. Mary’s Adopt-A-Student application
                                        - Diocesan Special Scholarship applications

  • June 1st:              - Diocesan Round 2 FACTS application

DIocesan Tuition Assistance (FACTS GRANT & AID)

HORVATH ENDOWMENT TUITION ASSISTANCE

The Horvath Endowment was established by the family of Martha A. Horvath, in order to follow her wishes to provide financial assistance to families who believe in Catholic education but are unable to afford it.  We are reaching out to families that may have considered our school as an education option for their child(ren) or who may have withdrawn from our school due to financial circumstances.  In order for your family to be considered, you will need to complete and submit the Horvath Endowment Tuition Assistance Application directly to Father Tom.
Families will be notified of scholarship and/or financial aid awards as soon as possible.

If you have any questions, please contact Carol Lorek in the parish office at carol.lorek@stmarysmentor.org or (440) 255-3404.
