St. Mary of the Assumption School has a long history of success and merit dating back to the fall of 1952 when four Ursuline nuns started the school. Since the beginning, our school has grown in both size and population to include over 40 staff members and more than 300 students. St. Mary of the Assumption School continues to be a model of excellence and virtue to the children of Northeast Ohio.
St. Mary of the Assumption School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
