Every student at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic School may apply for scholarships and tuition assistance. Working in partnership with parents, who are the primary educators of their children, we want to ensure that the young people in our school community have an opportunity to receive an affordable Catholic education.
In addition to applying for EdChoice, please apply for all available scholarships/tuition assistance offered to your family in order to keep the cost affordable. K-8 Tuition is $6,166 per student. Please make sure you register your child through your parent FACTS account before proceeding to the following scholarship applications. The deadlines and information on each scholarship application are as follows:

- Angel Scholarship Fund (ASF)
- Diocesan Tuition Assistance (DTA) (Round 1 consideration)
- Parish Scholarship/Tuition Assistance - March 25th - Fund A Dream (FAD)
- March 31st - EdChoice Scholarship (current students)
- May 15th - EdChoice Scholarship (new students, extensions will be given under certain circumstances)
- May 15th - Diocesan Tuition Assistance (DTA) (Round 2 consideration)
Edchoice scholarship by ode
EdChoice is an income-based program through the state of Ohio. Students in grades K-12 are given the opportunity to attend a private school for little or no cost once approved. EdChoice provides up to $6166 for grades K-8, and $8408 for grades 9-12.

Angel Scholarship FundThe Angel Scholarship is based upon family financial need and household size. You must complete, sign and submit to the parish office by March 15th the Angel Scholarship Fund Application.

DIocesan Tuition Assistance (DTA)
The Diocese of Cleveland provides tuition assistance through its Diocesan Tuition Assistance (DTA) program. The FACTS Grant & Aid Application must be completed online at www.online.factsmgt.com/aid and submitted by March 15th along with the required supporting documentation and non-refundable application fee. (Note: This is the same portal/login used for making tuition/registration payments.)

Parish Scholarship/tuition assistanceScholarship/Tuition Assistance is available through the parish Adopt-A-Student program and the Horvath Endowment Fund. You must complete, sign and submit by March 15th the Parish Scholarship/Tuition Assistance Application.

*NEW* Fund A Dream (FAD)
Fund A Dream is a special tuition assistance scholarship program crafted to support Catholic education and designed to alleviate the financial burden faced by parents with demonstrated financial need. Through this initiative, donors are paired with deserving students. Each student will be considered to receive a $2,500 scholarship to be applied to their tuition. The Fund A Dream Application must be completed online at https://www.catholiccommunity.org/parish-school/fund-a-dream-resources/scholarship-information and submitted by March 25th.
